Meghan Luebbert

Meghan is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in the adult population (18+). As a PMHNP, Meghan is able to perform psychiatric evaluations, provide brief supportive therapy, diagnose mental health condition(s) and prescribe medication to treat the mental health condition(s). Meghan treats a wide variety of mental health conditions including: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders and attention disorders. Meghan is currently in the process of obtaining certification for perinatal psychiatry.

Meghan earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She then attended Creighton’s College of Nursing Accelerated Nursing Program and earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. Following this, she attended University of Nebraska Medical Center, graduating with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). Meghan specialized in psychiatry and became a board certified mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Meghan is currently working on obtaining her certification in perinatal psychiatry.

Meghan not only has a wealth of knowledge within the psychiatric field, but experience as well. Meghan has worked 10+ years in mental health, starting as a child/adolescent behavioral health technician at Immanuel Hospital. She then transitioned to working as a psychiatric nurse and gained experience working inpatient at Lasting Hope Recovery Center and Nebraska Medicine. Meghan also worked at Inroads to Recovery, a residential substance abuse treatment program. After graduating with her DNP and becoming a PMHNP-BC, she started working in an outpatient clinic for CHI. Meghan continued to round periodically on an inpatient basis at Lasting Hope Recovery Center. Meghan shares her passion for mental health by teaching as an adjunct nursing faculty member at Creighton College of Nursing.

Meghan’s goal as a provider at Integrative Psychiatry, is to invite you into a warm and welcoming atmosphere to share your story. Using evidence based approaches, Meghan is willing to work with you to recover and be well- mind, body and spirit.
