Amanda is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner focusing on the adult patient population. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, she diagnoses and treats individuals experiencing mental health conditions by providing psychiatric evaluations, supportive psychotherapy, and medication management. She treats various mental health concerns, such as mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders.
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She then began working as a psychiatric registered nurse at Lasting Hope Recovery Center before pursuing further education in psychiatry. She completed the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2020. Upon graduation, she continued to work for CHI in an outpatient psychiatric clinic, as well as provided monthly weekend coverage on the inpatient units at Lasting Hope Recovery Center. Amanda looks forward to continuing her passion of providing psychiatric care to individuals at Integrative Psychiatry.
Amanda’s goal is to enhance mental wellness using evidence based treatment practices and support personal growth to encourage a more positive and fulfilling life. It is important to her that each of her patients feel safe, supported, and heard in a warm and welcoming environment.
